I have seen an up tick of accidents due to animals in the road. No one wants to hit any animals with their vehicle. Unfortunately, sometimes that just might be the safest thing to do. Swerving to the left might put you on a head on collision course and swerving to the right might have you driving off the road faster than your car can handle. Vehicles handle much differently when they leave the assault. They do not steer or break as you are used to. Hitting an animal in the road is unfortunate but is the best option for your safety.
